Time sure does fly by. I can’t believe it’s almost my two year wedding anniversary with Shane. You can read all about our fairytale wedding here and check out my Wedding Series here. It was one of the best and most fun days of my life. It really doesn’t seem that long ago so when I say in two days it will be our two year anniversary that is crazy to me!
So what do you do to celebrate a two year anniversary!? I wish I had an answer. I like to follow the traditional anniversary gifts by year. You know… first year is paper, second year is cotton, sixtieth year is diamonds 🙂
Last year Shane and I had the “paper anniversary”. Our paper gifts were plane tickets to Cancun. We spent a week in Mexico relaxing by the pool and enjoying water activities.
I thought it was pretty creative to turn a “paper” gift into a Mexico vacation! Boarding passes are paper, right?
I’m really stuck on what to do this year, though. And if I’m already stuck on what to do for year two what does that mean for the years to come? I’ll never get my diamonds in 58 years! Year two is cotton but the only thing I can think of is clothing. Boring! I’d gladly take suggestions if anyone has an interesting idea.
